  1. Howard, head position is also an important part of body position. Like Erik said, the stage may dictate that I wish to stand more upright. But, I can still control recoil very well, as long as I keep my chin tucked down. (maybe this is because of my big fat head, I dunno?) Consider the amount of control a 100 lb rider has over a 1200 lb horse, all because the rider controls the horses head. Cool stuff.
  2. Duane, thanks for the heads-up on the life expectancy for HP slides. Not knowing that, I would have gone on a wild goose chase if mine ever cracked. Now, I'll just make arrangements to find another slide. Dude, you are a national treasure! Thanks - Sam
  3. jessej, if it makes sense after remembering about the movie, it will really make sense if you ever meet Flexmoney in person. I think he could probably "park" a horse Mongo style, with the best of 'em
  4. On Aug 18th, 2002 I recorded the following practice notes. On a 7 yard IPSC target "A" hit CZ-75 average of 10 draws from a Blade tech: .99 sec. STI .40 Lim. avg. of 10 draws from Safariland 012: .85 sec. On this particular day, at this distance, it looks like the difference was .14 for me.
  5. Quote: from bird: What it really comes down to is that it really don't matter how you pull the trigger as long as you pull it straight back without disturbing your sights. sanchez, bird totally nailed it! Whatever techinque you employ, it is good if it breaks the shot without disturbing the sights. "What do you see when you turn out the lights?, I can't tell you, but I know it's mine. Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends Yeah, I'm gonna try with a little help from my friends."
  6. Jon, you must be a rock star or a Senator? Thanks for asking, but no I've never posted anything in the classifieds. I'm to poor to have anything to sell. Brian, I'll just sit tight with the hand I've been dealt. If it ain't broke, I don't try to fix it. Thanks for all your help. It was very cool talking with you. 7. hehehe, got my post count back, Thanks Kyle! Now over to the classifieds to peddle my substandard wares to the unsuspecting Erik. Ron, just what I wanted for Christmas, to have my postierior preserved! (It was beginning to sag) John, I used to manage a zany tribe of savages in the oil and gas business. A couple of them hung the bonedaddy moniker on me. Picture: the short, fat, mean one, with the bone through this nose and skulls on his belt. It basically meant the same thing as HMF/IC. Sure is good to be back! Thanks all!
  8. Due to something wierdly technical that neither Ghost Dog or I could fix, bonedaddy is no more. (Sometimes there's just cosmic forces in play in this here universe that we have no control over.) So, I've come up with another startlingly original handle..... Sam. Yeah, I know it's pretty far out there, but with time, maybe we can all get used to it.
