Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I now have over 1.2 million rounds loaded on my .223 press using a Mr.bullet feeder. I see that RCBS has a pistol bullet feeder that looks like it could handle the cast bullets https://shop.rcbs.com/WebConnect/MainServlet?storeId=webconnect&catalogId=webconnect&langId=en_US&action=ProductDisplay&screenlabel=index&productId=6100 Looks like they offer it in .22 and .30 cal also. This design is used on the more expensive Ammo Load machines and has worked well for me with cast bullets.
  2. Just an FYI, I now have 1,020,000+ rounds loaded using the bullet feeder on my .223 dillon RL-1000 set up. Straining the bullets before they are put into the bullet feeder hopper helps greatly to improve the operation of the bullet flipper system.
  3. I would love to see your set up. Been thinking about a bullet feeder. Also in Dallas.

  4. I just went over 800,000 rounds loaded in .223 using the bullet feeder. He should have named it Timex! Fainya Dallas,Tx.
  5. I now have over 750,000 rounds loaded in .223 using a Mr.Bullet Feeder. Add in the .308 on my 2nd bullet feeder and the round count for both is well over 1,000,000. Other then needing to clean out the bowl every 20,000 rounds or so, the Bullet feeder has run flawlessly. These are being used on Dillon RL-1000 machines. Keep up the good work Rick. What a great product Fainya
  6. I have 380,000 rounds on mine. Mostly .223. Keep the collator bowl clean or you will have problems with bullets not tipping over properly. After awhile the bowl will get a copper shien to the inside. Brake ckean will remove it and not harm the plastics. The copper will make the bullet feeder act glitchy. I usually clean out the bullet feeder down tube every 5,000 rounds or so. Powder, bits of cardboard, staples, and misc crud are common when you buy bullets in bulk. Fainya Dallas, Texas
  7. Can't advertise here... e-mail me Rick I wish Rick would set up a forum off his website. It would help all who are interested in information about his bullet feeder. I own one and I have over 300,000 round loaded using a MrBulletFeeder. I load mostly .223 but I do have two conversion kits to do 30 carbine and 308. I have only kept track of the .223 and .30 carbine. If I add in what I have loaded in .308, I bet it would be closer to 400,000 rounds loaded. This thing is like a timex watch, 'It takes a licking and keeps on ticking'. RZ Dallas Reloading Supply Dallas, Texas
  8. I have over 195,000 rounds on my Kiss Bullet feeder set up to load .223. FYI He is now called mrbulletfeeder. Other then little problems like the feeder tube spring pulling out of the collator ( 2 times now.) My bullet feeder runs great. The collator bowl is starting to get a copper color to the inside of it. But I can live with it. One of the things I have had to do is to run the bullets through a strainer. A screen type or a noodle strainer will work. I was amazed at how much stuff comes out of a bullet box. This really helps to keep the dirt out of the collator and the bullet feeder. If either one gets to dirty bullets will do weird things. Like feed up side down, get jammed it the feeder, hang up for a second before dropping and miss the case, and not drop out of the collator properly and cause the collator disc to lock up. I have run into all these things and every time it has been dirt or foreign objects like shreds of cardboard that have caused my bullet feeder to stop working. I am waiting for mrbulletfeeder to start shipping again. I have 2 more on order. One for .308 and the other for .30 carbine. Fainya Means Fire Barer in pre greek language.
