  1. 1. "3-gun" matches where there is 300rds of Rifle, 300rds of pistol and 20rds of shotgun in the whole match. (Numbers exaggerated for effect)

    2. Shotgun stages that are under 20rds.

    3. Rifle stages that are over 90rds.

    4. Overly complex stages that have overly complex rules of what targets can be engaged from what positions and become simon-says memory games, rather than a shooting game.

    5. Ambiguous stage description that has one squad shooting one way and another squad shooting differently because the RO's aren't being consistent.

  2. I think it goes in phases. One thing I noticed:

    2008-2009 i saw a bunch of slide-mounted mini-dots.

Now, you don't see it as much on new builds, but you see alot of photos of 90* Cmore Mounts.

People are always looking for an edge, and they will try new things if they perceive it as giving them an edge.

  3. I made the mistake of leaving my RL22 Powder in the garage in my hopper when I was reloading .270win. The first session had really good accuracy in the gun. As the weeks went by the reloads got more and more erratic. I don't leave powder in the garage anymore. It's all inside in the AC. FL humidity in the garage killed that pound of powder. Just my anecdotal evidence.

  4. I know there are lots of posts already about Cmore vs. X, Y or Z.

My question is, WHY is the CMore the primary go-to optic for open?

What advantage is there to floating the red-dot high-above the bore?

    Why not a Tube-Dot?

    Help me out.

    Thanks!

  5. I run a Saiga-12 with a JT Engineering Magwell for AGP 10rd mags. When I was practicing alot my reloads were fast. So fast that it made starting with a drum and switching to a stick mag on stages of 22+ rounds was the same time as reloading twice on the magwell.

On the other hand, I don't understand the rule. Why do they insist on keeping tube-guns competitive by adding restrictions? Imagine if they were adding rules to keep Winchester 30-30 lever actions competitive with ARs.
