My father and I both are very active in pistols, skeet, trap and now PCC. He liked mine so much (9mm sbr), that he said he'd like his own... Almost done with his build...

Get an Advance Ratio or IPSC Alex thumb rest. The pad is a lot bigger and ergo is better compared to the stock. I got an older two hole Advance Ratio on mine.
Does it use the same hole pattern and fitment as the OEM TSO rest? I see they only have a FB page, no website.

Aaaah, I get it now. Thanks. But I see a lot of name brands, for lots of items, mentioned quite often, hmmm.
There's something about that thumb rest I guess. Always been like that. -
What does *thumb rest [generic]* mean?
I'm confused by the wording.
I used a brand and by default the forum swapped out or with that wording.

Love the trigger, not sure if the *thumb rest [generic]* will stay though. Rides a bit close to the slide stop.
Dead nuts accurate though!
Threw a set of lok grips on it...gtg -
for uspsa or just plinking?

Just local steel matches for now.

Just picked up a TSO to go along with my shadow 2. Can't wait to see how it runs.

Looking for thoughts on whether a 1moa rmr would be better for someone with a slight astygmatism? Thought is that the smaller dot at higher brightness would be a crisper dot as opposed to the 3.5 moa. I've shoot numerous 3.5s and wish it was crisper.
This will be mounted to a g17.

Adam mentioned something about offering varying weights of thumb safety's for those that want a light flip and those that want a harder feeling one.
Adams videos are really informative and it sounds like they really stand behind their products. Really excited -
Hopefully my Atlas comes as tight as I think it will. As opposed to the CK thunder I ordered with thumb safeties jiggling around ????

Ok, I'm genuinely curious. I want an Open gun with an EVO grip, hard chrome finish, DT safeties, DPP optic and a CFD comp. Who is building this for me for under 4K?

Fwiw. Gun will have a stainless Evo grip

With 9 minor you could go pretty light without hurting anything or making the recoil impulse too nasty. You say "fun gun" but what are you aiming for? flat shooting, cool looking, lightest weight overall?

Sdc and classic slide?

Any thoughts on cycling without lightening cuts? I assume fine, since the EDGE comes from the factory without any cuts or flat-topping.

Purely functional

What are you trying to achieve? Purely aesthetic or weight reduction?

Alleviate any cycling issues and maintain proper balance...

All the cuts up front look cool, but I prefer to balance weight reduction front and rear.

Was on the fence myself and decided on a CK Thunder almost exactly like this one. A couple mbx mags from shooters connection and I’ve got a great gun for local steel matches or I could shoot minor at any uspsa matches that may pop up. Listen to the guys on this forum, they all know what they’re talking about.
New gun is sitting at my ffl til next week, but after holding it...the stainless ck grip feels amazing.

Does anyone have experience with the new SVI 9/38 tubes working with the CKArms grip/frame?
I have a new Thunder Series on order and want to begin acquiring (tuning if necessary) mags in the meantime.

You will like it and I'd go with the Thunder just for the slide cuts. I'm very happy with how my FGW limited gun turned out!! SO much so, that I added the slide cuts to my Commander build.....
Thunder has the lightening cuts at the front right?
