  1. The rifle volley send off was touching and pointed. I'd not seen anything like it ever before. We had about seven shooters ranging in age from 15 to over 50, each firing one round in unison upon command. It was also great that we had a wide variety rifles - an 03', two M1s, and several AR variants. Chris was into older rifles (C&R license holder) so it seemed appropriate. My thanks to the Harvard match officials for letting us do this send off for Chris.
  2. Mike, Those pics of Chris were excellent, thanks for setting it up. Can you send me the one of him with the torn pants in our indoor range? Thanks, Erich
  3. I was shocked by the news yesterday. Chris was a great guy and always willing to give to help fellow shooters. He was a huge personality in our little group at Hopkinton. My son and Chris would often compare scores (same Division), and Chris could always be counted on for working the matches as well. He was really just starting his life - recently married, new job, new dog, head screwed on straight!. Damn shame, Chris was one of the good ones. If Chris's passing can do us any good it's to remind us to stop and think and be grateful for the good times we have with family and friends! DVC Chris! Erich Thalheimer Hopkinton Heavy Hitters
