  1. Do they even have the same trigger pull? I check Angus website and the info on trigger is the same but when I read some of the thread some people say that the target has 15lb mainspring and the shadow custom has 13lb. But, on Angus website it says they are both custom version.

  2. I am in the market for a production pistol and I'm leaning towards CZ. I guess my question is which one would be a better pick Shadow custom or the shadow custom target? Any input would really be appreciated. Thanks.

  3. I have tried 12 moa and use it on 2 matches. It's really good on close up target and you can always see the dot. The problem is shooting a target somewhere past 15 yards that is covered. It usually takes up the whole target. I'm going back to 6 for that reason.

  5. I have a friend that's been shooting his open built in the 90's and only minor changes or maintenance done. As long as the slide, barrel, and frame is fitted right I font think they'll give up. Plus your load is just right...

  6. I am in the process of building a new open pistol as a back up and considering an aluminum grip. I heard and seen some threads about the grip developing some cracks after so many rounds fired. Is this still happening? Has STI done any improvements on their aluminum grips? Thanks.

  7. I always like having a thumbrest to where I can place my thumb and give some control to the Gun. All of the open pistol I had and still have has thumbrest. I like arredondo and also Limcats thumbrest.

  8. I use a 50/50 solution of vinager and hydrogen peroxide. Let it soak overnight and all carbon just wipes or rinses out. Just be careful as this solution will remve paint or blueing. Only use on stainless steel.

Is this safe with stainless steel comp with chrome finish? Is it harsh to loctite?

  9. I just bought or built a new open pistol and shot it on a match and did few practices and notice that my comp is beginning to have a build up of powder blast residue. I clean the gun each time I shoot it and lube it well. How do you clean and maintain your compensator without having a build up? What cleaning compound are best to use that won't be harsh in melting the loctite on the barrel thread? I'm currently using a wd40 and it's quite not effective in cleaning the build ups. Your opinion or suggestion will surely be appreciated. Thanks.
