Really looking forward to this one. I've never been to the FNH 3 Gun and I hope to get in so that I'll have my three events for the 3 Gun Nation Amature Series.

Got my email confirmation from Andy today that I'm IN!
YES!Now I just need to get into the FNH 3 Gun and I'll have my minimum of three events for the 3 Gun Nation Amature series.

I just shot the Florida IDPA Championship and Joe Buchanan, the Ohio AC, was on my squad. He said that he's having trouble getting clubs to step up to the plate for a state match. He also said that one of two clubs will probably host one in 2013.
We have heard that the last two years. PCSI in Circleville did a GREAT job holding the state match a few years back. I wish they would do it again.

I would like to see some slug targets added for at least one of the AM stages. Last year we didn't get to shoot any slugs.

Yes, I am shooting AM again this year. Actually our whole squad from last year is shooting AM again -1 guy that is on the waiting list. I really like the sort of layed back down and dirty stages the AMs had last year. Our squad got along great and I can't wait to shoot with them again.

Has everyone gotten their confirmation E-mails,or are they still being sent out?
Sent mine out last week with USPS delivery confirmation. According to the USPS it was delivered @ 0745am on Feb. 23rd, but I still have not received anything from mis Linda.
I'm crossing my fingers for tomorrow.

I recieved the same email. I just realized that I need to try to register for both Pro and Am just in case I miss the Pro registration I can still shoot AM.
You would bump some poor AM from getting to shoot their first ever 3-Gun match possibly?

MD has flown south for the winter, but I will be requesting a schedule change to make the multigun match Sunday April 15th. The April 8th date had been submitted before we realized it was Easter.
The 14th will be the IPDA match at PCSI. The IDPA MD has agreed to work with us to use our stage setups as the basis of the IDPA match.
This is good news! I already had it on my calendar for the 15th.
No..NO..NO! I have to work the 15th so it has to be the 22nd! LOL!

My membership in the USPSA expired 06/30/11. I did not get to shoot hardly any USPSA matchs last year so I just let it drop. In 2012 I plan to attend a lot more and wanted to renew my membership. My question is if I pay today for a renewal will it expire again on 06/30/12 or will it be good for a year from the renewal date?

The Blue Ridge Mt. 3 Gun allowed two weeks for previous shooters to get in their apps before accepting new ones. That method may be something to consider.
I was lucky enough to get an AM spot last year and finished in the top 20. Due to the August ProAm, My daughter's Sept. wedding, IDPA Nationals in Sept., and finally in Oct. the BRM3G, I need to shoot AM again just to keep within the budget with all those matchs going on within a three month period. Besides I'm sure the guys I shot with last year will shoot AM again and our squad had a great time together.
I've already planned vacation for the ProAm so I sure as hell hope that my internet connection / power..etc are working good and Murphy stays away!

I had this same problem with a PMAG this past summer at a multigun match. Now my spare mags are all GI.

I think returning shooters should get first chance at registration, much like DPMS did in the past. Then after a set time to get the entry in, registration is open to all. Not only will it cut down on the computer/internet overload of everyone trying at midnite, it's an incentive to those who helped make the inaugural match such a success.
Of course I would be one of the returning shooters.....

I hate to resurect this thread for this reason, but did anyone else sign up for a polo shirt from the Rockcastle match? If so, did you ever get it? ....and yes, I shot am. ....and yes, it was my first time ever shooting a "big" match. Will I do it again, absolutely!
I got my polo last week. I was not pleased with the screen print for the logo on the front. You could hardly make out what it said. I don't plan on returning it but I do wish that I would have just gotten the T-shirt now.
