...have a "Hi-Viz" front and V-notch rear on a 325"PD" and a 386"SC"...jury is still out...the setup is reasonably fast, but I'm not sure it is as PRECISE as a conventional "Post and Notch" arrangement....FWIW....mikey357

...any plans to have any MORE "Icore-type" matches in the future???...Thanks....mikey357

IIRC, Jim Stroh at "Alpha Precision" does "Revolver Accurizing"...both
SA's AND DA's...he has a website...you can find him thru the American Pistolsmith's Guild ("APG") website...FWIW....mikey357

IIRC, Andy Cannon used to "Hardchrome" the "Internals" on some of the Revo's he built...said it let the "Action Job" last longer before needing work...keep in mind this is in high-round-count COMPETITION Revo's...I'd be curious if "NP3" would have the same benefit(s)-???....mikey357

...well, I'll NOT comment on the grips, BUT...getting "Back on Track" a lil', the chromed-to-look-like-stainless hammers and triggers work just fine...back in the heyday of PPC, some of the "Master Gunplumbers" who built these VERY accurate revolvers actually PREFERED to built on a stainless frame so equipped...the RUMOR was that you could get a slightly SMOOTHER DA pull, and that it would last longer, too...FWIW....mikey357

Weigand makes a good mount, as does EGW...about six of one, a half-dozen of the other....mikey357

...as Ted points out, the Speer Lawman 158-gr. TMJ "PLUS-P" WILL make "Minor" out of a four-inch barrel...as will the almost-identical CCI Blazer "Plus-P" load....fwiw....mikey357

I've shot the two "IDPA-type" Revo-only matches jointly hosted by Steel City in B'ham and Middle TN Shooter's in Manchester...had a GREAT time both times...I LOVE The idea of a multi-discipline Revo-only match...sign me up!!! One idea...you might want to make it a "non-sanctioned" match that follows the various sanctioning bodies' formats/rules so the IDPA'ers can shoot the IPSC part and IPSC'ers can shoot the IDPA part...Bill N's ideas on overall scoring sound good....FWIW....mikey357

...while I do NOT know anything about their REVOLVERS, Domino has built world-class ISU-type competition pistols for quite some time... standard pistols and rapidfire pistols, IIRC...hhmmm...the revo's on their website LOOK LIKE they are geared for ISU-type competition, too...the .22 for "Standard Pistol" and the .32 for "Centerfire Pistol"....mikey357

...I think it would be WONDERFUL if SOMEHOW USPSA would make it legal for me to utilize the FULL CAPACITY of my 686 Pluses (7-shot) and my 627 PC (8-shot) WITHOUT having to shoot in "Open" class or "L-10"....just my $.02 worth....mikey357

...the latest "New Additions" circular I have from Brownell's DOES show a C-R holster for revolvers...BTW, what are some of the OTHER holsters appropriate to "Racing" with revo's???....mikey357

...thanks for the "Welcome"...AND the ideas...I'd kinda' like to leave the 627 PC that I already own near-stock...what I had in mind was either a 627 PC in .38 Super, built to the max, or starting with another N-frame model and getting to roughly the same place...with a BETTER Comp than S&W puts on the 627's...not that they are BAD, but I know better Comp's CAN be made...any ideas??? TIA....mikey357

I know you guys in the desert SW take your "Unlimited" or "Race" revo's seriously...after messin' with a PC 627 in .357 Mag for a coupla' years, I "Feel the Need for Speed"...I'd like to have a "Racier" revo built, with Comp, red-dot sights, the whole works...so, who do you guys use/recommend?...I know Charlie Prest has built some of this type of revo in the past, but cannot find any contact info...is he still building guns, and are they worth having???...How 'bout Don Golembieski at Kodiak Precision...any experience with his "Blasters"???...TIA....mikey357
