  1. I have a pro custom in 9mm. I did replace the trigger and I did replace the mag release for one from canyon creek so I can use STI mags. It has become my favorite gun to shoot. Runs 100%. STI mags work great.  I should have got one in 40.

  3. I ended up replacing the mag release, using one from canyon creek and it has worked great from the get go and Sti mags. This is in a 9mm. The Para Pro Custom is a great gun and I have really enjoy shooting it. To bad Para/ Remington has drop the ball on them. Anyone looking for two factory 9mm mags send me a private message.

  4. I'm 52 and have the same problem as everyone else hear it sound like. I am trying some new contact from Baush and Loumb called Multi Focal. They clain its one lense for all distenances. Well for shooting they are better than anything I have tried so far, but it is using your dominate eye for medium to longer distance and the other eye for reading to mediun distance but both lense have some reading correction. What is interesting is that there is some reading correction in the center of the lense but I can't use my dominate eye for reading it is blurry, and the non-dominate eye I can read with it but it does take some work. Now for my job I am doing a lot of reading and looking at a lot of documentation and so far this set up doesn't work at all. But for shooting the sight are reasonably clear, they are not as sharp as I would see them with reading glass on but it is better than with regular contacts. The doc said they can tweak them so we will see what happens.

  5. I missed Henning at the Nats and have been interested in checking out an EAA Limited pistol. No one around my area has one (Boise, ID) so I thought I'd see if there are any shooters in the Northwest that have one I could check out. I'll be shooting the Idaho State Championship this weekend and the Utah State in 2 weeks if anyone that has one will be around. PM me with info!

    Thanks!

I was just wondering if you ever was able to check out one of the EAA limited pistols. I too am from Boise and just started to do the Steel Challange at the Nampa range and I can see getting into more of this stuff. I did pick up a standard match model and I did like the way it felt. I have been very interested in this limited model.

  6. I bought a case feeder after they first came out. It is set up for 9MM and 45 ACP, it works very well. But then I got back into High Power rifle shooting and a lot of shooters reload 223 cases on there 550. So now I guess if I want to use the 550 I need to remove the case feeder. I have read were one person has adapted his for 223 cases but Dillion has looked into this and decided not to persue this. So I'm still undecided or go buy another 550 and problem is solved. As far as the case feeder goes like I said before it works great, but if your going to be reloading rifle cases also I'm not sure I would get one.
