Take a look at this link on ar15.com http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&...=4&t=226782 it helped me out a lot on my first build. and your going to need some tools in which to do so. but you can pick them up at brownells. your going to need a armors block and a barrel nut wrench at the least. but its all very simple and very fun and rewarding. as far as headspacing is concerned just make sure the bolt is new and you should be gtg. ymmv gl

Donno about a complete rifle, but i got an upper around september 2008 and it was $675 complete. don't know how much this is gonna help. But good luck finding one now. I've been waiting for on a barrel to finish a build since oct 08.

I like the scope very much. For the price its hard to beat. I have one mounted in a larue spr-e mount and it has perfect eye relief for me. I got my at midway for $210. so far it holds zero. The only thing is the dot gets washout in bright sunlight against a light background. other than that it great. YMMV.
