Sorry guys I forgot about this.
I've put the S2 on a further diet with cgw guide rod. And the loK light weight thin grips. All said I've got 2.6 oz available for a dot.
Do you guys still want pics? I'm currently CO legal for Uspsa and IPSC. The iron sight plate would get me prod legal too

Springer Precision did the work. Its CZ customs red dot cut plus all internal slide weight cuts.
Henning grips are reduced a little too.
CGW guide rod should let me us other dots.

The Henning grips have about .2 oz milled out of them too. The CGW guide rod should give me a little more wiggle room for a heavier optic.

This is freaking stupid. You can't use the capacity of the magazine the gun comes with even with ipsc running 15 rd mags but it's cool to run a *thumb rest [generic]*. Well looks like I need a nitro fin for the shadow now.

If I read all this right the fin should be legal now which is pretty stupid ruling for production but I have been wanting to try it on CO gun.

yeah but i need to go back threw and see how many sec in penalties i got. and my gun was a jaming all the time. you need about 15 secs jams taken out and other stuff. i do shoot realy fast and generally i make up for it. i just hadnt shot in forever. im gonna run cdp all next year and practice practice practice. i need to stop switching guns all the time.

Based on the official results, you dropped way too many points. I think you're shooting too fast. You dropped 106 points which is 53 seconds. Subtract that from your overall time, 228.06 seconds, and you get 175.06 seconds. Now divide that by your overall time and you get 0.768. If you look at the results from other major matches, you will see that ratio is generally between 0.85-0.95 for the top shooters. Slow down just a bit, and I bet you could cut the points down in half.

it really was a great match. they put on a hell of a show and you would never know that it was there first one. it ran very smoothly and i didnt even notice much lag time in between stages overall a really good time.
got a video of some of the stages if you guys are interested

What rule says you cant have internal weight reduction? Appendix D 21.3 allows aftermarket slides as long as they conform to the same profile as OEM. I have no externally visible cuts so the slide is standard profile if including the filler plate.

Milling of Slide
A slide may be modified specifically for installing sights, and for no other purpose. Slide racking devices are prohibited.
For this gun to make weight taking a little bit out of the guide rod channel is required.
the production rule changes have basically turned it into Limited 10 Minor with no magwell. For shits sake you can have a gaspedal now as long as you dont modify the frame to make it fit. #stupid.
