Check to see if the spring/groove under the ball is all gummed up with dirt/powder. On my 1050, sometimes, this will cause the ball to get stuck and the timing of the shell plate goes out of wack.

I would get it re barreled for 9mm. Shooting a 9mm through a 38sc barrel as a test, I found that the groups got bigger for me.

Very cool indeed.

Welcome

I get zero dust after tumbling using Dillon polish, lube it with hornady one shot and then into the press
-
Awesome indeed...an accomplishment for anyone. Well done

Get a used Browning Citori...till you decide you want to do more...then it gets expensive...;-)

Definitely hard chromed, it will last a long long time. Get a satin finish on the chrome, minor scratches do not show up and you do not to polish it.

Warm welcome!

One primer for everything makes it simple, no need to buy SPP, SPM, SRP

I shoot one division for the whole year and then only one gun.

Also check ads at www.trapshooters.com - you can find good deals there also

I have a JP built 1100 for open division. Works like a dream, never had any issues with the gun. In comparison to my Benelli M2, it is heavy but it absorbs recoil a whole lot better than the M2. Shot recovery is also better than the M2.

I had my first PITA check-in with Southwest this year coming back from Area 1 in Phoenix, AZ. My buddies checked in next to me and went through with their guns without a problem while my Southwest person wanted me to take my gun out of the case and show her that it was unloaded. There were a lot of people around me. As I unlocked my case, and the debate continued, I asked her to call her supervisor. It took a while to get this resolved and she was not too happy that I said she was wrong.
The last thing I wanted to do was to pull out a gun, rack the slide to show it was empty. Also bring a copy of the TSA rules with you.

I do not miss the "twang" sound. With the JP, it feels more like a precision instrument.
-
WSF also works great in 9mm.
-
I have one new in box. PM me if you are interested - shipped from Seattle, WA
-
I would get the largest one that would fit - mine filled up before I knew it.

It is good to take time off and do something different and then come back to it after a few months or a year.

Awesome match. Thanks to all who worked hard to put this on!
-
Looking forward to my first Area 3!

Glad to be able to help

I cannot see .223 holes with my 27x power spotting scope at 200 yards but with the 50x, they are visible. Younger shooters may be able to see much better than I but you are welcome to check out my Kowa http://www.creedmoorsports.com/shop/KOWA_TSN-82SV_82MM_SPOTTING_SCOPE.html with a 27x and a 50x eyepiece. HD glass with give you better contrast and more vivid colors. Since I wanted to save a few bucks, I got the standard scope...;-)
