You didn't say what quantity a "lot" is. With a new factory weight spring or heavier aftermarket spring a few hundred over time won't be a problem.
The cast frames are said to be a bit "stronger" than forged frames.

200 rounds may seem like a lot to pull but it only takes one slam fire or high pressure primer puncture to ruin your day.

My experience was similar at my first match. I was so excited to be shooting that I forgot to keep focus. A couple of matches later, I am still having too much fun to keep 100% focus but am settling down.

+1 on the rubber band. I had a top 5 gunsmith give me the rubber band advice. Easy to undo if you need to

The stores that post signs are doing the CYA routine. They feel better at corporate but still know if someone is injured by a firearm in or around their store they will be sued.

ebay
in What I Hate
Ebay is a fact of life. I intensly dislike their past firearms and more recently their new policy but they have decided that banning the other firearms items will only negligeably affect their business. They will go on and we will find another resource.

Brownells is at the top of my list. Only buy from Midway when I absolutely have to.

Sounds like your crimp is the problem. The factory seating/crimp die can give an irregular crimp. I would switch to a taper crimp die after the bullets have been seated.
