I've had several of Hans 870's I have no complaints

I've done Metalife going back to the late 80's Saw no reason to change

Sport pistol is something I haven't tried. Sounds like I should give it a try if it is available.

Thanks for the Brian Enos article https://brianenos.com/the-neutral-grip/. It has helped
-
I compete with a 2011 but EDC is a Sig 365

I've had no problems at my club with my CCO. Just go out and buy a Colt Combat Commander and a Colt Officers Model, swap the parts and sell the rest. Gave it to my pistolsmith to iron out any issues and was good to go.

While I have several brands of magazines, Metalform seems to be the most consistent
-
I try to stick with the brand and weight that shoots best in my pistol. There are enough "specials" going on that you should be able to find whatever you prefer

I have used the Hahn in the past and was satisfied. It used the S&W mags

Harbor Freight has worked fine for me. Would like to have a bigger one sometimes

While I am not fond of the Pact combination setup (slow) the scale has been a bright point. I have RCBS 10-10's to do random checking and so far so good
-
I like leather belts and Beltman is a quality product at a reasonable price point
-
As above, pretty hard to call a 1911 unreliable after two World Wars, Korea and Vietnam
-
Great looking pair. Lucky friend

Glad the CMC mags work for you. I have had good luck with the Metalforms in my Kimber. It's my go to mag

I concur on the purchase. DW has a load of custom features that make it a real value. They also shoot well

I've been using various sprays to prevent rust but I don't like the idea of the residue. I'm going to give the paste wax a try next go round
-
I mostly reload while sitting with my 650 and it works fine for me. I do like the idea of the mirror on the ceiling to check case feeder. I wonder if the wife is going to miss one of her makeup mirrors
-
It is obvious I need more practice on shot calling and paying attention to how my sights move in recoil
-
I've got some recorded music that really pump me up in getting ready. Haven't tried it while I am shooting a stage. Might have to give it a go
-
I started wearing double hearing protection a couple years ago when an instructor noticed me blinking in anticipation of the blast. Certainly helped my accuracy
-
I watched the Matt McLearn video and found it to be helpful
-
I have the Ed Brown and Marvel fixtures. I prefer the Marvel
-
I have been using the Marvel and have been happy with the exception of the lack of last round slide lock

I've not had any problem with with my Dan Wessons. It seems to take 115, 124 and 147 equally as well.
