Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. +1 for Gary, he has done around 8,000 brass for me.
  2. I had an issue with using the Winchester WinClean brass, a 550B, and WSP. I the primers would not always seat right easily in the case. I'd have to reposition the case like one of every three times with my hand... didn't have these problems with mixed large primer 45's.
  3. I have a 550B w/o casefeeder, and a 650 w/casefeeder. I love the casefeeder on the 650, makes reloading my 9mm and 40 a breeze. I am not going to buy a casefeeder for the 550 as it is my "quick change" press. I load 45/38 spcl/223/308 on the 550 and want to easily be able to change calibers on that one. My 650 is for doing multi-thousand batches of 9mm or 40 at one time, then I switch over from one to the other. Tim.
  4. Just a followup... the bullets I recieved from Mastercast are loading and shooting great. I have loaded about 3000 of them thus far. Very pleased and will be bringing back my business to them for next years quantity order. Tim.
  5. Same problem for me too on my 550 and now my 650 with 9mm. I'm going to try the duct tape idea, sounds like it will work well.
  6. I just ordered 12k bullets of various 9mm-45 calibur from the Mastercraft in PA. The bullets look great and the service was extremely fast (same week shipping) and curtious. Tim.
  7. Thanks for the information. It seems like a hard cast lead bullet will work fine through my polygonal barrel even though there appears to be the nay-sayers. After reading through more of the posts here it appears you have your do and don't sides to the matter. I am indeed looking at the Precision bullets along with Frontier's CMJ line (Like Berry's and Rainier). My experience thus far is with using Speer cast lead and Rainier TMJs. I was indeed amazed at the extra smoke and powder smell while doing a simulated night shoot at our LE range. Another officer knew right off the bat that I was pushing cast lead I figure for the price difference of $29/1K compared to $46/1K (Precision's 125FP Case) it wouldn't hurt to buy a couple thousand to play with.
  8. Anyone have experience with the Meister 122gr 9mm bullet? I'm about to place an order from 3,000 or so bullets and noticed BrassmanBrass has these for $29 shipped per 1K. Will be loading with Bullseye for my P2000. Any input about these bullets and/or the company (Meister) would be great. Thanks, Tim.
