If the classfier was CS-028 [don't have a link], and if has fired two shots on each of the left targets, reloaded and fired one single shot on the right target before the barrel blockage.
Then he would be awarded all hits up until the malfunction plus the five misses that he hasn't fired on the right targets, plus one fail to engage per target for the two targets he hasn't fired at, so five misses and two FTE plus clock time and any B's and C's.
He would then be able to repair the blockage and complete the second string without penalties.
Hopefully with some powder in his ammo.

Does anyone have a pic of what Warren's front sight looks like mounted on the gun??
Also what rear sight notch width are you running with the 0.9" blade??
-
Does anybody have CED 7000 timers in stock?
I have searched all the places I can think of and everyone is out of stock.

Has anyone had any experience with this company?
Or does anyone have contact details for them other than listed on the website?

Thanks Bubber PM sent

Good input guys, the single action notch part didn't really grab my attention because i don't shoot competition revolvers in single action mode.
The "extra material in the right spots" and the hopefully fine tolerances of EDM machining is what interested me.
The description says that the trigger face is already "Rounded and polished smooth for the serious competetitor", so I guess that would negate the need for a 2.0 version.
If any body has measured one of these up against a standard part, I would be keen to know the difference.

Came across this on Brownell's website.
Has anybody had any experience using these yet?

Just curious to see what the stages were like, seeing as there was no match package posted on the website.
Will you be at Blacktown in october for WAPC?? I will hopefully be going down.
-
Does anybody have a copy of the stage decriptions for this years IRC??

Thanks guys, I was worried about lead deformation against the seating stem spring pressure, seems it is not an issue.
Has anyone noticed an increase in accuracy with this die compared to traditional seating dies?
-
To those that have experience using the Redding competition bullet seating die to reload 38 super, is it suitable for use with coated lead projectiles and did it make a difference in accuracy compared to a regular seating die?

Thanks Spray N Prey, I guess GOOGLE doesn't have all the awnsers after all.

I have a printed copy of a stage called "Frenkel's Follies 2" that I must have sourced from the internet,
but after scouring the entire universe can't seem to find it again. If anyone has a link to a copy of this stage somewhere
can you let me know please.

The dates for the 2009 IRC are up on the ICORE website now and it's 5-7th June.

California Wheelburners have great generic score sheets on their website.

Thanks for the report Ken. Seems like your pretty happy with it.
Is the overall fit of the slide and barrel petty tight, and does it feel sluggish to cycle?
I think I'm almost sold on the idea, but none of the dealers here have one to check out so I would have to put money down and order sight unseen.

There is a Springfield Custom Shop gun in the classifieds. 6in in 45acp

Less money than the off the rack gun.
Thanks for the link Flex, but I'm in Australia and unfortunateley not allowed to shoot above .38 bore diameter for almost all matches.

I'm thinking of buying a Targetmaster for action match but nobody I know has one to try out.
Does anyone shoot one of these that can give a reveiw as to wether or not this is a good gun to use for metallic division?

Which is it Alex....Hope....or ....Definitely....you have to defend your top International title now.
Mark, I'm Definetley coming .....I'm just Hoping that my bank account will allow me to get there.
Might need to ebay some second hand Ferrari parts.

From an international perspective I have to say it was a fantastic match. It lived up to everything the urban legend said it would be, fantastic satges, great people and even better atmosphere, many thanks to the match staff and range officers, and thanks to Doug, Gene and Mark for showing me the ropes at IRC.
Hope to definetley make it back next year.

Ok guys I'm planning to come over for IRC in june and looking for good ideas on sights and attractions to see in the greater california area
shooting or otherwise. What can the the locals recommend on a whirlwind tour a week either side of IRC?

Anyone come across any ejection problems in late model angle eject 94 winchesters? Have one in 45 colt that has suddenly stopped ejecting correctly.
Have had it apart for thorough cleaning and inspection, replaced ejector spring, ejector looks in good shape, no other obvious defects but still does not eject
cleanly even with factory ammo. Anyone come across this before?

Thanks for the input guys.
I had suspected that a replacement barrel from any .357 N frame was ok, just a bit confused about that rule change.
Randy, I had wondered about the locating tab and if there was a barrel nut like the short barreled 327. Is there an issue with the barrel\shroud assembly working loose on some 327 models?
The barrel and cylinder retrofit was just a thought on building a better mousetrap, not sure if it would be viable though. The big problem would be obtaining the parts in the first place without purchasing a whole new gun.
-
Do you think it would be stretching the ICORE rule book if one was to take the titanium barrel\ shroud and cylinder from a 327 JM and fit it to a standard stainless 627 frame for limited division?? Any pros and cons with this idea would be appreciated.
Moveable iron sights for Metallic Division?

Chris , that is a very functional looking setup, you can appreciate the work Warren has put into it.
What rear sight notch width do you plan on running with it?
