  1. If the classfier was CS-028 [don't have a link], and if has fired two shots on each of the left targets, reloaded and fired one single shot on the right target before the barrel blockage.

Then he would be awarded all hits up until the malfunction plus the five misses that he hasn't fired on the right targets, plus one fail to engage per target for the two targets he hasn't fired at, so five misses and two FTE plus clock time and any B's and C's.

He would then be able to repair the blockage and complete the second string without penalties.

Hopefully with some powder in his ammo. :D

  2. Good input guys, the single action notch part didn't really grab my attention because i don't shoot competition revolvers in single action mode.

The "extra material in the right spots" and the hopefully fine tolerances of EDM machining is what interested me.

The description says that the trigger face is already "Rounded and polished smooth for the serious competetitor", so I guess that would negate the need for a 2.0 version.

If any body has measured one of these up against a standard part, I would be keen to know the difference.

  3. Thanks for the report Ken. Seems like your pretty happy with it.

Is the overall fit of the slide and barrel petty tight, and does it feel sluggish to cycle?

I think I'm almost sold on the idea, but none of the dealers here have one to check out so I would have to put money down and order sight unseen.

  4. I'm thinking of buying a Targetmaster for action match but nobody I know has one to try out.

Does anyone shoot one of these that can give a reveiw as to wether or not this is a good gun to use for metallic division?

  5. From an international perspective I have to say it was a fantastic match. It lived up to everything the urban legend said it would be, fantastic satges, great people and even better atmosphere, many thanks to the match staff and range officers, and thanks to Doug, Gene and Mark for showing me the ropes at IRC.

Hope to definetley make it back next year.

  6. Anyone come across any ejection problems in late model angle eject 94 winchesters? Have one in 45 colt that has suddenly stopped ejecting correctly.

Have had it apart for thorough cleaning and inspection, replaced ejector spring, ejector looks in good shape, no other obvious defects but still does not eject

cleanly even with factory ammo. Anyone come across this before?

  7. Thanks for the input guys.

I had suspected that a replacement barrel from any .357 N frame was ok, just a bit confused about that rule change.

Randy, I had wondered about the locating tab and if there was a barrel nut like the short barreled 327. Is there an issue with the barrel\shroud assembly working loose on some 327 models?

The barrel and cylinder retrofit was just a thought on building a better mousetrap, not sure if it would be viable though. The big problem would be obtaining the parts in the first place without purchasing a whole new gun.
