Finally read the FAQs

Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. I’ve found 11gr of #7 behind a .124gr JHP at 1.125 is perfect for my gun. Inline ports and v4.
  2. Hey all, I'm trying to get in touch with @Stickman301 on here about a gun he used to have. I’ve sent him a PM and figured I would see if anyone knew him personally. If so, could you shoot him a message and have him check his pm’s? Thanks in advance!
  3. My Akai is v4 ported and also inline ported. You’ll have to find what works best for your gun but 11gr of A7 behind a 124gr jhp is an extremely flat gun that returns to zero for my setup.
  4. Autocomp is quite a bit faster than the ones I’ve mentioned. I used autocomp for a number of years in both minor and major. But since I run compensated guns, I prefer the slower powder to make more gas.
  5. So I think they both perform and meter about the same and they’re both pretty clean in my opinion when using a JHP. I’m going to use A7 as it’s a little cheaper then 3n38 and it’ll add up over time. You can’t go wrong with either one though.
  6. I’m loving the feedback and I think this might have moved to the top of my to get list. Might keep the 1050 and ditch the 650 and maybe pick up a single for long gun.
  7. This is the one I’m leaning towards. Do you have anything you would change about the machine if you could?
  8. Yeah I agree. I did speak with RMR and they have over 200k 124gr nukes in stock so the quantity issue probably won’t be that big of a deal. I think I’m going to just go ahead and order some and compare them side by side.
  9. So I looked at the kestrel but not in depth enough I don’t guess. Originally when I was searching there were only a handful of guys mentioning it so I kind of just wrote that one off. Might be worth circling back to.
  10. I appreciate the lengthy review on the GO. I was kind of leaning towards the other one due to size and features it offers but I just don’t know if it’s worth the price tag.
  11. So my pocket pro finally bit the dust. I was just going to order a pact as I know they’re solid. I figured I would go ahead and go down a rabbit hole and look at higher end ones and the shooters global smart shot really stands out but it’s pricey little thing. Those who have used it, is it worth the money? Had you wished you went a cheaper route? Any additional thoughts or features you really enjoy that it has over others?
  12. Customer service is big to me. I’ll probably go ahead and order a sample pack of those as well. I really appreciate the insight!
  13. So I definitely lean towards PD but they’re a little hard to come by right now, which is why I’m trying to find other solid options that are both affordable and perform. That being said, USPS just lost a sample pack of PD that I ordered. Took them two weeks just to tell me that PD never shipped them. I have been in contact with Pd the whole time and Lisa assured me they did. PD has great customer service and made it right.
