Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Awesome, I need to try A7 as well. I have quite a few ports and popples on my open gun so more gas the better
  2. Yeah I thought about the same thing but most I go is to keep them in separate colored ammo boxes and I keep the majors in plastic bags so I don’t mistake them. Gotta say, I’m impressed with the performance so far though
  3. So I ordered a ton of the 124 RMR nukes last year when they were on sale. I use them for minor pf LO and I just bought an open gun so going to try it for major also. So far they are very accurate in my experience, more so than 147 bb. I do however load fairly short in my 2011s when using the RMR nukes at 1.125 oal.
  4. Super interested to hear how these run in higher round counts. Have Aftecs on two of my guns and was bummed I couldn’t make a twin with them but I might use this.
  5. DAA flex. Love it so far just wish there was an easier way to switch between multiple guns thickness setting
  6. So I’ve run Lucas up until recently when weaponshield started up again. That stuff is great. Not going to lie, the video sold me when comparing to Lucas:
  7. Holosun 507 comp green. Prefer the 8 moa reticle. Previously had SROs but I noticed the phantom red light at the right angle so switched it up.
  8. What’s the general thoughts on how these compare with autocomp? Fairly new to the reloading game and was curious.
  9. Hey everyone. I shoot competitions in the Houston area and started late last year. Learning quickly and looking forward to learning more from this forum!
  10. I run 10lb springs with factory 124 gr and 9lb with 147 competition loads between 130-135 pf. Kept the 17lb MS the same
  11. I’m fairly new in the competition space but believe I have finally found a long term hobby. Just over a few months ago I bought my first 1911/2011, an Atlas Athena, and have been hooked ever since. Now I’m quite addicted and can’t stop buying great 2011s and 1911s. Im an engineer and enjoy the technical aspect of this sport. Nerding out about these topics has become one of my favorite pass times.
