Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've had nothing but frustration from C&H, and will never buy another one of their products.
  2. The Rudy's worked great. Everything has more contrast, the green really stands out. I wish they dimmed a little bit more, but it was sufficient for the Texas sun. @rooster mcbee Oakleys don't generally fit Asian people that well, and I've found their "asian fit" and/or "low bridge" glasses still don't work that well for me. Thanks for the suggestion though. @Stuey@sandflea316 I'd love to check out some HHD, a bunch of people I shoot with run them, but at the end of the day I'm always too smoked to remember to ask them. @zzt I didn't like the amber glasses I tried with a green dot. It made the dot kind of grey to my eyes. Maybe HHD would be different? Thanks though.
  3. FWIW, I spent some time looking at sunglasses today. Being Asian, finding glasses that fit is incredibly frustrating. Maui Jim, which are not necessarily a good choice for eye pro(but hey it's at least *something* has a few colors that make green dots pop. Their rose, Maui Green(pink with green reflective coating), and HCL worked pretty good. That being said, I'm going to drop the hammer on some Project Rudy's with the photochromatic red lenses. If there's any interest I'll follow up when they arrive.
  4. Primary Arms offers a model with a Chevron(which I hate) and a large outer ring that will help you get on target if your presentation isn't perfect. I would suggest the EPS or EPS carry though, as they have a shorter deck height(which allows a more natural presentation), or any of the "k" suffixed optics. I prefer the 6 MOA option on these, as the circle dot takes up so much of the window it can be visibly noisy.
  5. Howdy guys! I primarily use green dots for carry and competition, and where I live it's really bright. I've been shooting with grey sunglasses, but I'm looking for something that really makes the green dot pop. I know red is popular for red dot shooters, but I'm already invested into green on all my guns(otherwise I'd just grab HG rubys). Do y'all have any advice as to lense color? Thanks!
  6. Howdy everyone, new to the forums. I shoot USPSA and Steel Challenge, I'm in the Houston area. Hope to see y'all out in the heat!
