  1. Sorry to revive a dead topic, but I just installed one of these in my Springfield Prodigy. Its a drop-in install and my trigger pull is well under 3lbs (in the 2.5 to 2.75 lb range) Thats with an 17lb mainspring. I put about 500 rounds down range since the install with no issues. I would never go as far as to say its better or even equal to a custom trigger job but it wa exactly what I was looking for so I'm happy with it. If I ever get really serious about competitive shooting I'd get a custom job. For that matter I'd probably get a Staccato. If I win the lottery I might spring for an Atlas.
  2. I'm 58 years old and interested in getting into competitive shooting for the first time. I'm a tinkerer and have a couple of pistols I've modded just for fun. One is a Sig P320. It started life as a compact model with a 3.9" barrel. Nothing is left of the original pistol accept the barrel and basic FCU. I changed the slide to a factory optic ready slide, exchanged the grip module for a small X carry module, added a Sig Armorer competition trigger kit, DPM recoil system, Sig Romeo 1 Pro, Streamlight TLR 7A, tungsten grip module weight, *thumb rest [generic]* and killer innovations magwell. I also have a Springfield Armory DS Prodigy 4.25" with Atlas, tool less guide rod Nighthawk DTS, EGW Slide stop, and TLR 1 HL. I have a red dot, but ordered the wrong one. I got a Holosun 407k not realizing its a sub compact sight. Will probably get a Trijicon RMR or Delta Point Pro. I'm looking forward to observing some USPSA and IDPA matches, taking somes training classes and generally figuring out which org and which division is best for me. I'm sure at some point I'll sell one or both of the guns I have in order to get something better suited for where I land.
