Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Mr. Clean, Registration is by postmark date or when you get it?
  2. In on the pro side, $250. Am waiting list was too long to wait on. Hotel room secured, $$$ Vacation time secured, $$$ Long wait. Shooting the event priceless...
  3. Thankful to have been able to attend my 2nd match at the Rock. I can't say thank you enough for the people who give so much of their time to make this happen. The Nobles, Gary, Traper, Linda, the ROs, Sponsors, and everyone else that I don't know. Thank you. I was able to be on a great squad and meet some wonderful people. I was also lucky enough to run into shooters that were on my squad last year, good to see them also. Only downside to the match is that I lost my pocket knife. If anyone finds a silver SOG Twitch II on Pro #5, its mine. I'd be happy to pay the postage to get it back to me if you find it... Looking forward to nets year's match...
  4. Woo Hoo, I received my slot on the Pro side... But I want on the AM side... So shoot as Pro (or rather with the PROs) or don't shoot the match???
  5. My apologies to anyone who may have been offended by my pointed opinion in my previous post. As stated, 2012 was a great match and I plan to come back.
  6. Kurt, I guess I don't understand Rule 2.2.6 then. During a reload you accidentally fire your gun,(gun upside down, not aimed at a target) I have been taught is a ND. maybe my USPSA RO instructor didn't know what he was talking about. Being that I am not the only who who saw it, and questioned it, between ourselves, I don't think it was only me. On this particular stage, it was easy to see the incident, as clear as the RO. I don't know what 9 or 10 feet have to do with Rule 2.2.6 either? For clarification, if I am reloading a gun during my course of fire and pull the trigger, accidentally or not, I am good to go? Yes, it is easy to second guess anything. But as I said, the shooter knew what he did and stopped, until he was told to reload and continue on. Your example of Stage 6 isn't a ND, that was a one handed purposeful shot. I saw others do that and thought about it myself. As I have stated, I enjoyed the match and plan to return. I hope that the next one is at-least 1/2 the fun as this one. Kurt, could you drop me your email?
  7. How is this not a DQ? Discharge while reloading. Rule #2.2.6 ??? BTW the shot landed closer than 10 from his feet. Not that it matters. Just looking for clarification...
