kz45
6.7x3.75=25.125. Divided by 600=.041 is that correct? Then I add that to my .185? .226 is my height?
kmca
sounds right to me. I'd add a little to get back some rear sight adjustment.
wgj3
You likely have a .180" front sight at present. I assume that you presently have the rear sight bottomed out? If yes, then likely going to a .200-.220 tall front would get you enough POI change to achieve the zero you're looking for. Should also give you some wiggle room if anything else changes in the future and you need to adjust again.
wgj3
Or use the math... Go with a .230-.250 and call it a day.
kz45
Wow that's tall! But looks like that's what I need, thanks
kmca
can you deepen the notch in the rear sight?
kz45
I'd have better luck filing down a tall front site, much easier and cheaper if I screwed up
wgj3
Deepening the notch doesnt help, just lets you see more of it. You would have to remove material from the top of the sight. The answer is a taller front blade.
