  1. Hi There Can anyone advise if a 627 38/357 from the performance center is allowed to be shot in production or is it only allowed in metallic? Thanks in advance
  2. Curious about the effect of running the same projectile and powder charge in different length cases. I have a 38/357 S&W 627 and I am trying to develop a minor load with the campro 125gr plated projectile and titegroup. I have a quantity of standard length 38 special cases and when I load with 4.3 gr of titegroup I am no where near PF (Whereas in 9mm I was at 130PF with 4.1 gr) I was wondering if I used some cut down 38 cases (cut to the same length as 38 super) I would achieve a higher PF with the same amount of powder. Or is it just a case of losing some much pressure with the cylinder gap. Like to her your thoughts on the above. Aaron T
  3. Thanks for the advise, much appreciated Cheers Aaron
  4. I am thinking of using an aristocrat sight rib in Metallic on my 686. Reading the rules (that I have they are a bit old) I see that the rear sight is not allowed to go past the end of the "frame", given that the frame is solid and extends to the base of the grip is there any issue with the "overhang" of the rear sight by 10mm or so above the hammer? Many thanks' Aaron T
