Austin Hemphill
I disassembled by SV to clean it last night and when I tried to put it back together, the guiderod slipped out of the hole in the reverse plug, and is now wedged in there tightly. It looks like the guide rod is just short enought to catch on the shoulder of the hole, and long enough to ride up the radius for the link, effectivly wedging itself up tight. Has anyone else ever had this problem, or have a solution? I can't tell you how many times I have stripped and reassembled my top end, and never had this problem before. I remeber a snap sound when I was sliding the top end back on the frame, and this is where I ended up. All help will be greatly appreciated as I have a match tomorrow, of course.
