jim b.
Hello, everyone. I'm brand new to this forum, and I'm eager to hear from other owners of the EAA/Tanfoglio 10mm Hunter pistol with 6" barrel. I've owned mine for a couple years, intending to use it for hunting. So far, I've collected one whitetail deer, last fall, with one shot, as it was standing, quartering toward my right, 70 yards away. I used my own handloads. The 155 grain Speer Gold Dot bullet entered just in front of the deer's right shoulder, and penetrated most of the chest cavity as it went in diagonally. I did recover the bullet, which weighed about 145 grains (if I remember correctly). The deer ran about 80 yards before piling up. Very satisfying. Let me know about your experiences with your Hunter handgun. Jim
