Freddie the Swede Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 A friend told me that the new grip that he got (lucky bastard) feels like a Tanfoglio and is slimmer than the 2011 grip that he replaced. G-ManBart Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 I think I've handled all the various versions of the aluminum grip now and while they're much, much better than a stock plastic grip they still have a squarish transition from the frontstrap to the side that is in just the wrong spot for my hands....makes the grip feel bigger than it is. I can make a plastic grip fit my hand perfectly and I'd be loathe to start grinding/filing on an Al grip that cost three+ times as much. scirocco38s Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 I have 3 imm guns and the stainless grip in black. I would go for steel or stainless over aluminum. But that is my preference.
