CZ Shadow goes half-cock

Last Sunday one of my friends who wants to get into IPSC got his first serious pistol - Shadow.

He came to practice to the range and to show me his gun.

I noticed, that his pistol in DA mode does not strike the firing pin, it stops half-cock.

It works well in SA, when first round is fired.

Also, when I have dry firing his pistol it was making funny blunt sound.

Any solution?

Why it doesn't strike firing pin?

i'm sure stu or one of the other cz experts will give you some advice, but calling angus' shop (czcustom.com) is a good idea. Unless he got it from czusa, then i would call them.
