t0066jh
I found your drill on drawing to a sight picture somewhere here on the forum. Drawing 60 times and focusing on what I was doing brought me an "ah ha" moment. I've had a problem trying to "fix" a left eye dominant....right hand shooter ....problem. I had finally given up the tape etc and decided to not worry and shot with what I've got. Doing the drills made me realize that all I had to do was turn my head slightly to the right and my draw would naturally go to an acceptable sight picture using my right eye. So simple but it took the drill to bring it to light After that I did the reload drill......was to tired to focus properly so I'll try it tomorrow. Meanwhile I orderd Steve's book... Steve Anderson
I think a lot of times we try to hard to learn new things... In the case of the draw, all you're trying to do is get the gun from the holster to an acceptable sight picture. Is it really that complicated? It doesn't have to be. In your case, you saw something and made an adjustment based on vision... on my birthday, two years ago.
