TurboFC3S Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 Just a FYI, and a heads up for anybody who's seen the Factory Refurbished Lyman DPS II's that have been upgraded to DPS III specs ... I got one off Ebay a couple weeks ago from something like $205, the vendor had many more listed at the same price. Got here fine, fast shipping and well packed. I've been using it now for probably close to 500 rifle rounds and some 10mm loads using the hard to meter 800x, and it's been a great product so far. All the negatives I read about slow metering, and hard to clean ... well I just haven't found those to be true. It measures as fast as I would have hoped for, fast enough to work it into a routine and not slow you down. And cleaning for me takes probably 2-3 minutes, I can handle that. The accuracy is perfect, not much to say there. Every load I've verified on a separate scale has been within +/- .05 grams. That gives me the confidence to push loads a bit farther than I would with my Dillon meters. Just wanted to share Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
