High Lord Gomer
Not a 3-gun question, but a friend asked about a Benelli and I figured this was the best place to ask... My dad has a Benelli Super Black Eagle with the sling mount end cap. The swivel stud is held in by a pressed-on retainer washer on the inside of the cap (see link below). When the washer lets go, the stud comes out. Compared to the Remington design, which has a retaining "C" clip on the outside that keeps the T-shaped swivel stud from falling into the cap, it is an inferior design. Any idea if anyone makes a better replacement? I bent the tabs back flatter on the washer and drove it back onto the stud today, and I'm sure it will be fine, but for how long, is the question. Any idears for a better option? I can tell the old man is worried about dropping a $1500 shotgun into the drink, lol!http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd.asp?ch...perSKU=&MC=
