The_Vigilante
Wasn't exactly sure where I should post this topic but ended up here. Found Birchwood-Casey's product in Academy this AM and am wanting to know if anyone here has used it? Is it safe for polymer guns? Thanks in advance. HighVelocity
It's safe for polymer guns but it's a lot more powerful than it needs to be imho. I quit using it when I realized it was removing any and all loctite that it came in contact with, red, blue, green, etc. Grip screw bushings, sight screws, you name it. They were coming loose left and right. Get some of that stuff under a ring or wrist watch and YEEOOW! Not pleasant. I've been using the CBC (non chlorinated) brake parts cleaner in the red can for a couple of years and it gets the guns just as clean, is half the price and not so harsh on your skin.
