Witness Limited

I posted this general question in the technical forum but didn't get an exact answer....figured I'd get a definitive answer here.

If I were to buy a Witness Limited in 10mm would it be possible to buy a barrel for it in .40 and just swap barrels and recoil springs to go back and forth between 10mm and the .40 major loaded long that I use in my STI Limited gun?

I only ask because I have a a large amount of factory 10mm ammo available that would be fun to use in something other than my Smith 610. It would also allow me to have a backup Limited rig with nothing more needed than a handful of mags and a different holster (I think my mag holders will work, but even if I need to add those it's not a big deal). R,

From EAA, no.

I have some 40 S&W factory bull barrels for the Limited so if you get a 10mm I can get you one. Just call me; (720) 352 1080.

Everything else in 10mm and 40S&W is exactly the same. 10mm mags works great for 40 S&W. Extractor's the same also.

Excellent! I was hoping to hear something along those lines...it all made sense and we know how often that doesn't pan out when it comes to guns...lol. I guess I'll have to seriously look into findind one in 10mm now.....rats, less room in the safe :roflol:

they're really nicely packaged guns. Beautiful to look at if you don' t even wanna shoot them. If you do shoot them and make some loads in 40 for major ipsc they've got a light slide which reduces the recoil and cycles fast. Easy to track your sights and 21 + 1 rounds..
