Loading up .40 Cal for Pin Shoots and USPSA L10 Major

This season I've competed in my first ever three USPSA matches in Limited 10 Division. I've also competed in my first Steel Challange and Bowling Pin Matches. I've quickly discovered the increased costs of reloading and running .45 ammo.

I've been shooting a SA XD45 in all of my matches. I'm considering trading the XD45 off and shooting production with a Glock 34 9mm.

As an LEO I carry a Glock 23 on duty. I'm thinking of reloading .40 Cal. to major power factor and continue to compete in L10 division with my Glock 23.

I would also like to use my Glock 23 as a Pin Gun while running a Glock 34 in Production Class and Steel Challange Matches.

I need some idea of a good .40 Cal load that will both make Major Power Factor and make a good bowling pin round if I decide to compete with my Glock 23.
