lynn jones Posted September 9, 2003 Author Share Posted September 9, 2003 well, the springfield armory match is history now. we had 291 shooters shoot 5 steel stages in 2 days, i'm still tired. the springfield staff worked their butts off as well as the volunteers from our club and we even had volunteers from FEDX help out with the event. most of the competitors were novices and some have never shot a pistol before. i think the people at springfield did a great job to support shooting sports with their event. of course, robbie leatham did a great job of showing people how much fun you can have with pistols. there is some pics of the event at: http://www.memphis-ssa.com in the photo gallery.
