BPiatt
Can someone help with this local debate? Example: Limited shotgun USPSA match. Can someone change a barrel between stages? Normal bead sight for the 'shot' stages and a iron sight barrel for 'slug' stage. I've found a rule stating you can't change guns but nothing mentions barrels. Neil Beverley
BPiatt USPSA 12.1.8 seems clear to me - you can't change barrels from stage to stage. You could only change barrels if the original becomes unserviceable. I hope this helps.

Competitors at a competition, which consists of one or more matches of different firearm types, must use the appropriate firearm in the individual matches. In the event that a competitor’s original rifle/shotgun becomes unserviceable or unsafe during a competition, the competitor may seek permission from the officiating range master or match director to use a substitute rifle/shotgun provided:

BPiatt
FYI - Checked with John Amidon and confirmed the following. "Sight system" must remain the same for the entire match.
