Steve Anderson
Finishing up practice yesterday morning, I had 11 rounds left and had done all my regular drills. I decided to burn the last of the ammo one one shot draws to make 'em last as long as possible. I did 11 draws to a 10 inch plate at 10 yards in under a second each. Best was.75, avg. was mid eights. All I had in my head was wasting 11 rounds. In the official draw and fire one portion of the drills, the best was .95 avg 1.0x. Warmed up? Relaxed? Detached? I'll answer my own question: In the drill portion, I was going for a fast draw. In the burn ammo portion, I was looking to hit the target as fast as possible and waste 11 rds.
