KeithB
Got my Dillon electronic scale yesterday. Very sweet unit. but, a tiny bit of powder residue will cling to the silver pan that came with the scales. I cleaned it with alcohol and wiped it down with a dryer sheet, still some cling, just a residue but the brass colored pan doesn't have this issue. It clings so bad you can't tap it out, but have to wipe it out with a cloth. doesn't happen with the brass pan from the balance beam scale if i switch them. Danhits
I was seeing same thing happen. After reading your post I called Dillon about swaping my original white metal colored pan for the yellow metal colored pan that you spoke about in the thread. I even mentioned your thread without mentioning names or what site the thread was on (must protect the innocent). The Dillon tech on the phone told me that the two pans were identical except that one was annodized a silver color and one was annodized a gold color. he advised that there would be no swapping anf d that there is no upgrade offered. Guess you lucked out getting the right tech that recognized an issue or my tech was right on and we may be crazy people.
