TLD
When the charge bar is to the left and locked, on the upstroke, the trip rod won't trip the bar lock. The bracket is grabbing the trip rod and moving it up, but it is not enough to trip the bar lock. Does the bracket move the bar by force or should the force of the spring alone trip the charge bar lock? The bar lock needs a lot of effort to trip too. I don't know if it's always needed that much force but it seems that the full force of the charge bar return spring should not be pushing the charge bar against the lock. JGB
You likely need to adjust the repriming station (STATION NUMBER 2). If there's not enough travel the bar can stay locked. Look in your owners manual for the adjustment---You need to lower your reprime tube until you have 3/16" of travel with a shell in place at the botoom of the stroke. It's often required to readjust this when switching between AA and Remington hulls.

Too_Slow
Looks like some one else got back to this before I could. Well what can you do; you have to work to afford to shoot. Brian Edited January 6, 2008 by Too_Slow
