Armscor Headstamp Question

Hi everyone,

I have a somewhat dumb question. I did try the search function to no avail. I just got in some .38 super Rimless Armscor brass but it is not stamped RL like the usual brass I get. It is stamped AP 02 38 Super and some others are stamped AP 38 Super. Both seem to be smaller rimmed than regular .38 super brass and does measure smaller on a caliper. The usual Armscor I get is alwasy marked RL for Rimless. Anyone have a clue on it? the AP02 and AP Super brass heads both measure about 3.850ish and a new Magtech Super loaded casehead measured 4.00ish. Thanks in advance for any help.

Not a dumb ass question!

I just measured mine with the RL stamp and it was 3.85ish.

So you do have the rimless.

If I had a brand new batch of Armscor brass, I'd clean it before I loaded it.

It is OK stuff if the price is right.
