nicfit212
I was doing the "6 reload 6" drill in Practice and Repetition (three targets: two on each, reload, two on each) yesterday, looking for some way to improve my time (since it's kind of not great). I noticed that I was experiencing a lag at each target after the gun caught up with my eyes. Essentially, what I was doing was: 1) move eyes to target 2) move sights to target 3) refocus on sights 4) fire So there was always some lag refocusing from the target to the sights. I found it a little faster to refocus in anticipation of the sights arriving, so I was ready to fire as soon as they were aligned. 1) move eyes to target 2) refocus while moving sights to target 3) fire. More generally, the time between having eyes on the target and getting the sights on target is a little weird for me. If I don't do *something* with my eyes, they get distracted and wander, usually towards the sight (so they have to track BACK to the target again with the sight). Refocusing during this time is not only more efficient, it keeps them in the game. Carlito
