If you are using a P2P program like Azureus to get files off the internet, do not download the latest updates for Firefox, it is 2.0.0.4, and Java, version 6. They will make the program crash when it tries to open. I had the problem when I updated and after spending some time working on it, discovered what most people suspect to be the problem.
