trodrig
Does anyone have any experience with 155 SWC's from Bear Creek? Any problems getting these smaller bullets to feed properly? 200 grain SWC's seated to 1.250" feed really well in my gun but I'd like the lighter bullet for steel. Thanks! G-ManBart
I haven't used the 155swc from Bear Creek, but they look very similar, to the ones I tried. I tried them a long time ago and got them to run in the gun fine, but the accuracy wasn't what I'd call great. I found my old load book and I was using 5.2gr of WW 231, mixed cases and WLP primers at 1.260" as a steel load. The bullets were from Bullet Meister and didn't show any leading problems according to my notes. Unfortunately, I don't have any chrono data for that load, but my notes say it had plenty of oomph for steel.
