Slow Learner

My son and I, shooting on the same squad, come to a simple stage - 4 paper to the left, 4 steel in front, 4 paper to the right consisting of two arrays of 4 paper and 2 steel each with a mandatory reload between arrays. My son shoots the first array and then the second - no reload. I get a good laugh out of it and tell the RO he is a "Slow Learner".

My turn, I shoot the first array and then the second thinking I did great, all Alphas and all steel down. But alas - no reload! The RO looks me in the eye and simply says, "Like Father, Like Son".

I try not to laugh at my son's shooting any more.
