tptplayer
I recently bought some EarPro EP-3 Sonic Defenders from Sure Fire. They are in-the-ear hearing protection. The claim is that normal speech and sound is unaffected but that no sounds over 80 db will pass through the filter. The cost is quite reasonable, $9.95 plus shipping. Unfortunately they were completely ineffective for me. Anyone else have either positive or negative experience with these?
00bullitt
They don't suppress well enough by themselves to me either especially not for rifle fire. The good points are that they are extremely comfortable. They are fast in and fast out. They work extremely well when worn under electonic muffs. I think they are very well worth the low retail price. I wear them anytime I'm at the range and muff up just before I shoot.
