rsotelo Posted June 10, 2006 Share Posted June 10, 2006 Man these things rock! My friend Scott has has a navigation system and I never though I needed one until I tried it. They are very helpful in driving to matches, especially in areas you are not familiar with. I was going to bite the bullet and pay the $800 for a portable unit like the Garmin or TomTom unit, then I stumbled across Pocket PC based units. I just tried it today going to the Northern IL section match in the middle of nowhere and it is AWESOME. I paid about $200 for the wireless bluetooth GPS receiver and Navigation software. I already had a PDA phone (tmobile MDA) and thought I would try it since it had a money back guarantee. I simply loaded the software and turned on the GPS unit. It was that easy. Let me just say it is incredibly accurate, and well worth the $200. Now when traveling and I am hungry or need to reroute, the navigation tells me where to go. Anyway,my new toy...
