1911user Posted April 13, 2006 Share Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) Loves2shoot helped a complete stranger and newish shooter (me) sort out a decent holster solution and the basics of a good draw tonight. It was based on easy mods to an uncle mikes paddle holster. He replaces the paddle with a new kydex piece for the drop/offset and I modded the existing paddle, but the end effect is similar. I didn't understand how easy and natural a good draw can feel; wow. Here are links for 2 pics of the near-final product. modded holster with belt and pistol empty holster EDIT: I reread the holster rules and the forward canted pistol is now below the top of the belt, adjustments will be required.
