SA Friday
Boo, do you knnow someone who will loan you their S_I limited for a couple of matches? If so, shoot it, and don't worry about results. Worry about if the 'feel' is more appropriate. I own a lot of different guns, and they all have advantages and disadvantages. Make a logical decision based on what you experience shooting. Someone made the comment earlier in this string about Bow-Tech's and carbon arrows. Hoyt is currently one of the top tow bows chosen by bow shooters. They are reaaly good bows. I shoot bow too, and cannot stand the way a Hoyt feels. I can shoot it, and pretty accurate too, but the 'feel' just isn't there. Now give me a Mathews.... 80+yard shots are definately in the "try" area. It's about the bow fitting the shooter. I would imagine Sevigney can take an XD and absolutely smoke me on any course. But... I bet the feel would be all off for him. I guess I see it really boiling down to, "if it feels good, do it"
