gm iprod Posted March 12, 2006 Share Posted March 12, 2006 Jack, Try 3.0gr Clays 180gr Poly Coated Lead Conical at 1.150" = 750 fps (135pf) in a 5" Para. Accuracy is reasonable, you will need a lighter recoil spring. Also runs in a Glock 22 at about 720fps. Hodgdon list a max load of 3.5gr under a JHP but loaded a bit short for anything 1911 size, they don't show anything for a lead projectile.
