I have owned 1911s most of my adult life.I got my first in 1988,currently have 5 but I really have a soft spot for the older 1911/1911A1 models.As for NCIS I like the Mike Franks character who was Gibbs original boss.He prominently carried a 1911A1,in fact in was a key element in his character’s death.The plot of this new series is Gibbs as a new NCIS agent with Franks as his boss.Surely they will have the Franks character carrying a 1911A1.The new trailer they dropped isn’t conclusive.I’m still devastated the Die Hard franchise dropped the 92F for some polymer pizza gun.
