Do any base pads work for MecGar Para 14.45 mags in the Para Pro Custo

I have looked but can't seem to find an answer to the question.

The Para Pro Custom (which I like except for the two mags with which it ships) factory mag well will not allow the 14.45 mags from MecGar to fit properly. The lips on the base pads are too high on both the sides and front it appears. I've modified one base pad in an attempt to get it to fit properly but i cannot remove too much more material in order for it to do so. Does the catch notch need opening a bit to get it to fit securely (slide catch is not working unless I press on the base pad)?

Does anyone know if an aftermarket base pad will fit the factory mag well better with the MecGar mags?

Replace magwell with a Dawson Ice for Para and then use whatever basepads you like...?
